Frequently Asked Questions
Waxing
Follow your normal routine. We ask that you discontinue use of any retinol or topical acne cream at least 3 days prior to your waxing appointment in order to prevent lifting.
Facial waxing - whenever you feel that you're ready
Body waxing - hair must be about a quarter of an inch long (length of a rice grain)
We recommend at least 6 weeks postpartum before waxing again.
You can wear your normal clothes to your waxing appointment! For underarm waxes, you are provided with either a tank top, towel or wrap to cover up with. For lower body waxing, you will be provided a towel for you to cover up with during the service. Our goal is to make our clients feel as comfortable as possible, while still achieving client expectations.
Massage
We please ask that you be at least 12 weeks along before booking a prenatal massage. Anything before 12 weeks could potentially harm you or your baby.
For your massage appointment, you will be asked by your therapist to dress down to the level of your comfort. Whether this means fully clothed or completely bare, whatever is comfortable to you. You will not be exposed during the massage, as a sheet and blanket is used to keep you covered throughout the massage. Your therapist will ALWAYS step out of the room when it is time for you to change before or after your massage.
